Hello,
I would like to get an Autograph Book before we leave home, so that we'll have it when we hit the parks!!! Does anyone know where I can buy one?
THANKS for replying!!!

I bought ours on EBAY (where else can you buy anything? LOL )princess:

On our last trip I went to our local party store and bought a plain autograph book and let the kids decorate it with pictures of their favorite Disney characters. They thought it was a lot of fun!!

Make sure you take a chunky pen with you. These are pens that are bigger than a normal ink pen so the characters can hold them better.

Have a great trip!!

The official Disney autograph book is only for sale at WDW, all the Disney owned resorts and I believe at the Orlando airport. If you really want it before you go, you can get one by calling Disney merchendising and ordering one (don't know the number but I'm sure someone here does) or at LaughingPlace.com. They mark up the book in order to make a profit though so add in that and shipping, it's a bit expensive. If you like, making an autograph before you go would be much cheeper and easier than ordering one and having it shipped to you.

We ordered ours from Disney Merchandising, and had it shipped before we left. However, every and I mean every resort, store, stop has them. They were even it the Disney stores at the airport

I live in Fla and sometimes our Walgreens or walmart carries disney florida souvenier autograph books just like the parks. Also any disney character outlet store should have them. They carry merchandise from the parks at a discount. Have fun!

Just a reminder, the FIRST autograph you should put in the book is your own! :teeth:
On the inside cover, be sure to put your home address because if your little one misplaces their book and it is found by Disney they will return it to you. It is sad to find a book, with many autographs and personalizations and not have an address to send it to.

When we went in '99, I saw a woman who had a pink autograph book with the Disney princesses on it. It was adorable!! She couldn't remember where they had gotten it--I think she'd had it for awhile. I've had it in the back of my mind ever since, but never saw anything like it again--until...

Last week at Party City I found a "Disney Magic Artist" kit (in the Disney birthday decorations section). It has a "50 page memory book". It isn't an official "autograph book", but is similar in size. It has a pink cloth cover (it looks a little fuzzy--haven't opened it yet--it's a birthday surprise) with pictures of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella & Jasmine. It also comes with colored pencils, gel pens, markers, stickers, glue, rubber stamps & instructions(?!). Plus it all comes in a "keepsake box"! It looks great.

My only concern is that it is spiral bound where the regular books are hard bound. I think that will make it easier for the characters to sign, but if you go to WDW on a regular basis & keep your autograph book to reuse, I think it would wear out. That isn't the case for us, so I think it will be fine. The kit cost $17. They also had a cute pink baseball hat with Cinderella, Snow White & Sleeping Beauty that said "Heart of Beauty" (I LOVE that!) and a "Princess" fanny pack set with Sleeping Beauty, Ariel & Jasmine. Unfortunately, I don't think it will hold the book, but it will hold her fat pen, sunblock stick & some crackers.

Wow that got long! Sorry, but I'm so excited! In six weeks I'll be in WDW!!!!! :bounce:

Try laughingplacestore.com. They have the autograph/photo album. Its the same size as a regular autograph book, but theres a spot to insert the photo of the character who's autograph is below it. They have two kinds, a princess one, and a blue one with male characters on it, goofy, stitch, etc.

You could also try the Disney Store at the airport if you are flying in. Or if you are staying at a Disney Resort, they usually have them in their gift shops.:wave2:

I tried laughingplacestore.com and all they had were DisneyLAND books, no WDW. I got a pair of books on Ebay, cost 9.99 (didn't wait for bid, it was buy now for. . .) and 3.00 shipping. The person selling them seem to have a lot of them and she ships and packs them nicely. Just plug in the words "Disney Character Autograph book" and you'll get tons of replies. They also have them at the "Gifts of Lifetime" but the mailing is more than the cost of the books, the books are something like 8.95 but the shipping and handling is $10.99! It thought that to be a little absurd to say the least LOL! Good luck (and don't forget the fat pens!):teeth:

if you're staying on site, you can pick one up at the hotel.

I got the same pink autograph book that MS_FLO spoke about at KB toys last summer. The kit was 9.99 then plus everything in the store was an extra 30% off. The pages have a picture of a princess on the inside and Cruella Deville drew a beard and mustache on Ariel! The spiral pages have held up well except for the one page that my one year old tore out.

We stayed at a Disney resort and the gift shop had autograph books prominantly displayed at the checkout coutner.

I was just at thelocal family dollar staore (but I have seen them at Walmart too). They have the princess diary with pic of the princessses on fromt and pink pages with a little lock you can keep on or of and lots! of pages for autographs, doodles, pictures everything. I am going to get this for my DD and see how it works. Just another idea.:D
