Autograph book

Last September when we had our first trip to Disney, I spent days making this photo book to get all the characters to sign. They all loved signing pages that were dedicated to them, and Prince Naveen was so impressed I didn't think we were going to get our book back.

I thought I would share it in case anyone else would like to use it. It's 20 pages and you just upload it to any photo book printing service (we used Picaboo.com). The only major character I forgot to include was Cinderella (oops) so we just had her sign the last page which is generic. Feel free to make her a page, add/delete pages, whatever.

You can modify the cover to put your child's name under the castle. I included a PSD file that you can edit in Photoshop to do this. I would be happy to add your child's name to it if you don't have Photoshop - just email me at anjspambox at gmail.com.

I LOVE IT!!! What did you print it on? WoW! I thought I was creative getting sparkly card stock @ Michaels and having the Characters sign the cards and putting the pics in an album above them. This way beats that! My kids would LOVE this for our trip in May... Please tell me how you did it!

Awesome job! I made one last year for my daughter and it really makes it fun to see the characters reactions! Haven't quite decided if I'll do another one this yr.,but after seeing this I don't know if I can resist! Great job!

That is an amazing book! We're taking the whole family in May and we're not sure if we're going to do the character signing thing or not (kids are 4.5, 2.5 (x2), and 1.5). If we do though . . . you've given me some inspiration!

I would love to get this for DD. One question though, for eg. you have one page for Pooh and friends... does it mean usually you don't see Pooh and trigger at the same time? Or if both are available and they both sign on the same page, how would you know which is which?

Could you please point me to where I can get more backgrounds like these if I want to add more characters?

Thanks everyone for your positive feedback! I will try to answer all of your questions on one post

First, here are a few pictures of my daughter's book so you can see what the actual book looks like:

I made it using Photoshop and graphics I found using http://images.google.com. A few of the backgrounds I found by googling things like "free disney digital scrapbook pages" or something similar.

I printed it through Picaboo.com as one of their 8.5 x 11 photo books. I got the hardcover one so I could customize the cover. At the time I had a credit for a free photobook so I just paid shipping. I think normally it would be $30-$40ish but I'm sure you could get it much cheaper if you google for a coupon code. Also check out other photo printing sites like Shutterfly - you don't have to use Picaboo. I only used it since I had the free coupon.

Shatsi - I just put the Pooh characters all on one page for simplicity. We met them all at Crystal Palace and they all signed the same page (see pic above). If you want to make additional pages, you could just do like I did and search for the images through Google.

I just remembered one other thing about this book. I had put "Cars" in there because I read that they did autographs (tire tracks). Well, they no longer autograph anything, so that page is blank in our book. But, I'm planning on printing my daughter's pic with them and pasting it in the place of the autograph.

I left the cars page in , because my kids LOVE the cars movie, I am sure I will do the same and put the picture in there, or maybe have DH sign it somehow Not sure, but cars is a hit here....I also adding text on the back cover, I put May all your dreams come true
