My family of four are taking our first trip to DW in Aug. I was wondering if anyone knew how much some of the souvneirs are? any help would be appreciated. Thanks, by the way my daughter is 5 and My son is 10.

I cannot quote you the prices charged at WDW, but you can always check Disneystore. com. On our 10-day cruise/land trip last fall I bought a souvenier for each of my kids for each day, trying to match the souvenier with my plans for that day. I bought almost everything on ebay, including a new, never-worn Cinderella dress for my daughter for only $15. I also won MM luggage tags (which I gave to them the a.m. of the trip to surprise them with the trip itself). I bought a three-hole punched 4x6 photo album and used this for both the pictures and the autographs so you could look at the character and his/her autograph at the same time. Throw-away cameras, tshirts, visors and jewelry sets were some of the other gifts. I told each of the kids that they would receive a present (I wrapped all the souveniers I brought with me) each evening on their pillow if they behaved well and did not ask to buy anything at the parks. I know I saved lots of $$ and didn't spend half our time in the gift stores (which I honestly do not like to do). At the end of the trip, I allowed both kids to pick out one item they wanted from the DTD shop.

Try giftsofalifetime.com I found this on a thread here and I bought my children the autograph books and the pressed penny books. They have alot of other thing also. Look under personal shopping..on their web page.

Thanks for the tips, I checked at the disney store in my area and they said they do not sell autograph books. I was just trying to get a general idea for a shopping budget.

Baby Minnie Ears hat price around $6.50 (April 2002 price). The price includes monogram.

Autograph books are around $6 and pens are $3 or $4. Adult Mickey ears are $7.50, includes monograming.

Presentations does have the items, but if you are looking to save money there is an upcharge on everything they have and shipping, and if you have it delivered to the hotel there is a $20.00 fee (sometimes your pressed for time and the extra money doesn't really matter that much--1 autograph book, 1 pressed penny book, 1 pen and two guest of honor badges were nearly $53.00, about $29.00 if I had picked them up myself). If you are just looking for the "ears" and autograph books, pennybooks, pens, etc. Write out a list and have someone in your party take the list to the giftshop while you check in. The CM there will help to locate everything on the list they carry in the store and it will be quick and painless and less expensive. I often hit the Disney store and disneystore.com for the souvineers ahead of time. I purchase Beanie Babies that are $2.00 or less each, ssmall candy items, stickers and keychains from the dollar store, etc. If you pole around Dollar General and Big Lots you can find Disney toothbrushes and hairbrushes and other Disney items. If you have a car try the outlet store in the Beltz Mall, it isn't a far drive and the prices are great!
