Alright so I just wanted to get some more input on what I should do about an autograph book from my DD for our trip in December. I bought a book that is 8x8. So should I just take the blank pages to have the characters sign and then once we get one put together the autograph book?? If that is how, how should I protect them from getting bent or messed up during our day at DL??

I take it these are scrapbook pages that you will eventually add pictures to and insert in a scrapbook? If so, the characters don't need to sign the actual pages. You can get them to sign any piece of paper (which will be much smaller), then insert those pieces of paper into your scrapbook just like you do with the pictures.

Just an idea. I know I would never keep those pages from bending after digging in the backpack all day (and letting my kids handle them)!

I'm working on autograph pages that can be printed out 8x8 (I made one up that was 6x6 and they looked great). You can find the link to the thread where I've posted them in my signature. I'm pretty sure I'll have the majority of the characters done before your trip.

I just took a small clipboard and had the characters sign using that.

I made my own autograph book by cutting 6x7 acid free cardstock pages. I printed or used a character sticker for each page. I then took it to Office Max and had it spiral bound on the left side. When I got home, I cut the page from the book and had a 6x6 autograph to put in an 8x8 scrapbook. autograph on one side, picture of character with DD on the other.

I just went to a craft store and bought a heavy weight paper small (3 X 4 I think) spiral bound sketch book and used that. I had the character sign on the right hand side, and then took a picture of them signing and put that on the left side at home.

I actually got a black book and then scrapbooking markers that work on that paper. I also decorated the front cover to be fancy.

My only problem was cause I chose that cool black look, lol. It was night, and when I handed the book to teh character they switched pages without me knowing it and signed OVER another characters signing. Not too bad, and it was Turk (from Tarzan) so guess I should have expected that from her, lol.

Anyway, it was cheap and easy and a perfect size for them to sign. It also the perfect size to fit in my fannie pack so carrying it wasnt' a problem.
