My friend will be traveling with her sister and autistic 16 yr old nephew. I'm sure I've seen threads here with tips and suggestions which I just can't seem to locate. Can anyone help? I've already given her the Allears.net tip page for traveling with an autistic child, but I find these boards usually offer a lot more information! Appreciate any tips you have!!

Go down about two forums to disABILITIES! That is a very common discussion topic there.

The other section has alot
I'll suggest a travel DVD player with movies he watches alot at home
I put my sons First names, what is wrong (non-verbal autism -w/ seizures - on one) then my cell phone # on the back of their t-shirts that they wore all week (it was about the size of an address label) - some iron on paper that I got from Wal-mart

I also got an ID holder lanyard thing - saw it at Wal-mart in the office section for about $5 - I folded the edge of the GAC to get it to fit where the ID goes - then ticket/room key went behind it -- money went in the zipper pocket

also put some advil in a zip lock bag & had in my pocket
