Autism Information

DH organizes a golf outing every year ("Fore the Kids") and each year they choose a local child or cause and donate all of the proceeds. This year they have chosen Autism awareness.

I know some DISer's have been affected by this personally and I guess I'm looking for any charities specifically that you are familiar with or any agencies who are worthy of a donation. I have looked at the ASA but since we really don't have any personal experience, I'm relying on fellow DISers who might have personal recommendations.

cureautismnow.org is one I know of off hand. There are several more out there as well. Maybe there is a local chapter in your area. Try googling autism and your city name
