I have been saving up and looking to buy my first pair of Ugg classic boots. Anyone know where I might find a pair under $100? I found several sites for $80-$85 but am worried they might be fakes. Has anyone ordered from lovesboots.org or alipapa.com?

Yes, they will be fakes. You will not find true Ugg classic boots at that price anywhere, so don't waste your money. I was able to get a 30% off deal on Black Friday, so maybe a retailer will have a sale in Feb. for Presidents' Day. Just make sure to check on the Uggs website to make sure the retailer is legit. Uggs lists all of their retailers.

Also, another tip: if part of the URL web address has the word "ugg" or "uggs" in it, they are not a legitimate Ugg retailer and sell counterfeits (other than uggaustralia.com).

The official Ugg website has a list of authorized retailers.

I know you used to be able to find the not so popular colors (red, yellow, purple) at TJ Maxx, but that was years ago.

I don't think you are ever going to find women's classic shorts for under $100. You can buy the kids boots for $110 (regular price) if you have small feet.

The cheapest i have seen the Classic Ugg is $160. You can find some of the other styles on sale. Also depending your foot size you maybe able to wear kids sizes! I am a ladies 6 and can wear a kids size 4! So that will save you some money.

I know of a lot of websites that sell authentic uggs, if your interested PM me:)

Good Luck

Please do not waste your money on fake Uggs. My MIL bought me Uggs for Christmas and right away I knew they were not real. I have 2 pairs and this pair looks similar but definitely not the quality. I think she paid around $90 and I would rather spend a bit more and get the real thing.

Regarding your quest for reasonable Ugg's, here is my .02

Do not purchase online unless the website is listed here: http://www.uggaustralia.com/retailstores/onlinestores.aspx?p=aor

Do not purchase at retail store unless it is listed here: http://www.uggaustralia.com/retailstores/dealerlocator.aspx?p=ar

If the store you wish to puchase them at is not listed them you may get fakes.

What size are your feet? If you can fit into kids sizes then you can get them cheaper.

You may be surprised to find out that both Neimans & Nordstroms (online) regularly have discounted Uggs - you may need to be flexible about style.

Nordstroms has a fabulous price match policy. So if you find them at an authorized online store, but want to be able to return them if they do not fit & have a Nordstroms near you, price match with them.

Lastly, I have been told that Emu is way better than Ugg & they are more resonable then Ugg.

HTH & good luck!

I picked up a pair of the Ugg style boots at Kohls for $20. They look great and they keep moisture away from my feet.

I call them my Fuggs(fake Uggs)-these are so comfortable and they look cute. I think next year I'll spring for the real thing.:thumbsup2

Emus seems to be more regularly discounted, but they are actually like $4 more expensive then Uggs if you were to pay full price.

That being said I have a pair of Emus (equivalent to Classic Short Uggs) and a pair of Classic Tall Uggs. I don't know which kind I like better honestly! They are pretty similar in my opinion.

A regional upscale department store in our area had an ad in the paper just lately (within the last week, I think) for kids' Uggs for either $59 or $69 (really seems like it was $59). You could google Reed's in Tupelo, MS.

I was just thinking that today. I have Triple Bailey Button in Black UGGS and short classic EMU's in tan(ish). I was wearing my uggs today and was wishing it was my emu's,I just like the fit and feel better. I like my UGGS, but I prefer to wear the EMUs.

I am so glad I asked before purchasing. Thanks for all the helpful advice. I am a size 7.5 to 8, so I am not sure I can squeeze into the kids size. I would like to get a pair of the classic tall I think. I may check those EMUs out as well. Thanks again for the help!

I bought a pair of classic short uggs in chestnut. There were onsale at an online store and I called Nordstrom to price match. They were 20% off with free shipping.

Yes, you can. I wear an 8.5-9 shoe and a kids 6 ugg fits me great. I buy them from onlineshoes (authorized retailer) and the short boots in kids sizes are $109 with free shipping.

I wear a women's size 7, and just bought big kids Uggs. They fit great. $109 at Nordstrom.

I have a pair of the Costco style tall boot. I love it! My daughter got 2 pairs of the EMU's on sale because she liked my Costco boot (and our Costco sold out). Now her husband is wearing a pair of Emu's also. None were more the $40 on sale.

I've never tried on the actual Ugg brand. I think I'll drop in Nordstrom's later today and see if I see much difference other than the tag. I would like a short syle of this type boot and before I buy another similar style (not fakes) I want see/feel the real deal.

Yesterday on Clark Howards show he was saying almost all UGGS bought online are fakes
