That's GREAT! Why is it such a nightmare getting a camera bag! It took ages to decide for us. I think we got the right one as it carries cameras and the video without being too bulky
We got a new video camera for our trip at the start of the year and it was great.
It is a HD HDD/flash with a movable viewfinder and screen. I do like the screen but I had to have one with a good quality movable viewfinder because it is just so much easier for when you are somewhere windy (you can brace yourself more easily) and it saves battery use and can be used in the dark without disturbing others.
I was quite impressed with my footage this time (if I do say so myself
). Many years ago we went to Monument Valley and mum was in charge then and we had swoosh....that was monument valley...panning
I do possibly pan a bit too slowly but the main times were when it was COLD and windy and I was trying to pan without shaking.
Do you do candid moments and random things? I pretty much just do parades at Disney. I think I might do resorts and lots of other things this time but I usually feel odd at the prospect of doing that. I know without kids I don't have them to film and my family refuse to be in the footage (as do I...that's why I'm behind the camera
)
One thing I had fun doing with the video camera after this trip was photo capture. This is AWESOME as you still get photos of something even if you only filmed it. It isn't perfect but it is a great feature
