If you start to get hungry while exploring Tom Sawyer’s Island, now open after it’s refurbishment, look no further than Aunt Polly’s for a quick bite to eat! This seasonal quick service restaurant is reopening Dec 22 through Jan 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..



Some of the limited time offerings include:

• Becky’s Buttery Biscuit BBQ Sliders with House-made Cajun Chips ($10.49)
• Soft Pretzel Sticks with choice of Dipping Sauce ($8.99)
• Mississippi Mud Brownie A La Mode ($5.79)
• Barq’s Root Beer Float with Vanilla Ice Cream ($5.49)

March 29 thru April 11 of 2015 is the last time it was open, and it was on an experimental basis to see how it would go over. This will be the first reopening since.

The soft pretzels come with dipping sauce and one option is beer cheese (I’ve heard the pretzels are ok and the beer cheese is yummy).

As the vast majority of people visiting the area already know, the theme parks will be extremely busy in the upcoming few weeks, as people from all around the world come to Central Florida to enjoy time off work and/or school. To prepare for the crowds, the area's parks and attractions will make some adjustments to their existing offerings. For instance, additional food & beverage offerings will be available for Guests at the Magic Kingdom Park between Dec. 19 and Jan. 2.



Here's a list including the food and beverage offerings that are expected to be available during that time:

• Diamond Horseshoe: Quick Service lunch (11 am-3 pm), Table Service dinner (from 4:30 pm);
• Market Street Sandwich Cart: Italian-themed sandwiches and salads;
• Storybook Circus Sandwich Cart: Sandwiches and salads;
• Tomorrowland Terrace: burgers;
• Prince Eric’s Village Market: prepackaged sandwiches, caprese cups and salads;
• Aunt Polly’s: prepackaged sandwiches and salads;
• Westward Ho: corn dogs;
• Cool Ship: Turkey Legs;
• Peco's Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe: southwest burger.
