Did they stop serving lunch?? I checked the menu on allearsnet and it only has kids food. We haven't been there in a couple years because we alwasy go off-season and its closed. Say it isn't so!!

From what I remember from my last couple of trips, I don't even think Aunt Polly's is even open any more. The last time I remember seeing it open was back in 2003 and they were only serving PB&J sandwiches. MK really needs to have some type of counter service restaurant over there.

Two years ago I carted the whole family over to have lunch at Aunt Polly's as it was one of the highly recommended lunch spots in one of the guide books. Unfortunately, they no longer had lunch.....just ice cream. It was an incredibly hot day and by the time we took the raft over, we had some hot and hungry kids, so we did what any responsible Mom would do.....we had ice cream for lunch!

I didn't notice last year what, if anything, they were serving.

In 2001 we had lunch there. My husband said it was the worst food ever and it was appropriately named (since I am the worst cook ever!!)

Awww! I am bummed. My dh has never been there, and I kept raving about it. Not so much for the food itself, but for the whole atmosphere! Oh well! Thanks!!

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the reasons they closed it had to do with the aggressiveness of the birds there. Last time I was out there, sitting in the rocking chairs near the resturaunt, I watched this family trying to eat. The little girl in the family was crying constantly because the big black grackles were hopping onto the picnic tables, then coming right over to stare at her food. Not surprisingly, it really scared this little girl.
