What are the odds of getting a studio ocean view room 7 months out for the first or second week of October? And if not, Is there a chance of getting a studio at all during that time?

As of right now (1/29/18) those two weeks are open for Ocean View, Pool View & Garden view, so your chances appear good. Bsed on that snapshot, it appears the Hotel rooms and standard views are the most popular with Aulani owners.

BTW, Aulani will be packed with local DVC owners and locals taking advantage of the special offers sent out for Hawaiians during fall break which runs from October 6th through October 14, 2018, even Friday evening, 10/7 will be more crowded. Staycations are very popular at Aulani.
