Aulani, when is the best time to go?

So my DW has finally decided that she wants to go to Aulani for a vacation next year. We have had many conversation on what month is the best time to visit Hawaii but we still have not come to a agreement on what time of year is the best time to visit. February we will be staying at BLT for a week so February is out, we need HELP on when the best time to go!!!

If you can't go Feb (which is probably the best time), I would opt for early May, late October (outside of any fall breaks) or early November.

We are headed to Aulani 10/10/15. I booked at our 7 month mark and had no problem. I was playing around with the on-line booking and there was plenty of availability in all categories and all villa sizes. I was booking right at my 7 month window however....

Weather is roughly the same year round.

We have 9 of us traveling in less than two weeks for 12 days.. at the 7 month window the only option that was NOT available was the three bedroom villa standard view... everything else had plenty of availability...

We have made a habit out of going end of October/early November. We think the weather is ideal, not too hot but great for swimming still and the added bonus of their Halloween Party and trick or treating just for guests makes it extra special.

That's my worry, we can't book until 7 months out of our vacation date. I just hope there will be availability.

You should be fine...especially if you are booking an ocean view or pool view category. I would think standard view may have more limited availability.

We have been 4 times to aulani. Love it. We have always gone in may or April and book ocean view one or two bedroom. Never a problem 7 months out. The summer gets super busy as do holidays. Otherwise there is never a problem booking except for the standard view studios. Those go very fast always because they are lowest points. We are taking the family next June for my grandsons 8th grade graduation. Booked two studios, garden view, 11 months out, one for each daughter and grandkids. No standard views available. Used most of our aulani points on those. Have to wait until seven months when we can use other points to book the one bedroom ocean view we want for us. The ocean views seem to go last since the points are high.

I would be careful of the Pacific Hurricane Season... it has been pretty active this year.

Yes, most Saturday nights in October and on Halloween Night they have trick or treating too &pumpkin carving. It's a great time to go!

Good to know! We were originally thinking of September but this sounds fun, especially since we want to couple a week at Aulani with a week at Disneyland!
