Aulani Trip Report - The Exhaustive Edition :-)

You mention a gear swap...

We'll be in Aulani at the end of November, but I can't find a gear swap thread. How do I see if we can get in on this?

Sara

I think management and bell services stopped the gear swap last time I saw the thread. :-(

It probably has to be from person to person actually at the resort at the time of the swap now.

Wonderful, informative TR!!

I agree with a previous poster that the "eyeball" fruit you love is longan. Yummy!

I was so excited to see this thread pop up in my subscriptions list again! I'm not sure if you still check it, but I want to thank you for the incredible details you included, many of which we incorporated into our own trip to Aulani last month, which I've started reporting here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3068356

I had to give you a shoutout because I think your report is a must-read for those planning a trip. :thumbsup2

My DD and I are going to Aulani at the end of August and I am reading EVERYTHING about it and your report is fantastic! I am so excited and have already started purchasing things to bring on the trip. I will definitely stay away from the inlets!!!

Aloha!

I loved reading your trip report -- I actually took notes! I had two questions and see you've answered one, about how long to spend at Pearl Harbor. Unlike you, I'll want to check out the USS Bowfin. ;)

My other question, I'm curious about the famous red hat. Do you have a link to similar hats or a brand name.
