Aulani Spring Week - Chances at 7 months?

I figured instead of continuing to spiral down the stress well, I'd ask you experts for your thoughts quickly.

Hoping to head to Aulani 3/26-4/2. I have plenty of DVC points but none are at Aulani so I will be in the 7 month booking window. I would be OK with any 2 bedroom unit.

Should I be working on the renting game to find an owner to rent from or do you think chances are OK at 7 months out?

Your chances are pretty good if you are okay with spending points. Ocean View should be achievable.

In the past, pre-covid, at 7-months out for a non-holiday week in March or April, getting a standard view room, any size, or a hotel room was difficult, ocean view easy for any size room, about 50/50 for Island/Garden 2BR and and much higher chance for pool/garden 2BR. Unclear is the impact of covid. There are a large number of members that have accumulated a lot of banked points at Aulani due to covid issues, including resort closure. That could lead to excess demand for the time period you will be seeking, so there is uncertainty, although I would still expect at least ocean view to be open.

I’ll be trying for a studio in March for our DS/DDIL at 7 months so, I hope it works out for both of us!
