Anyone have a spa treatment or package at Aulani? Trying to decide if we'll get one at Aulani or at the Westin Maui where we will be first. Both are about the same cost-wise, just looking for reviews to determine which would be better. Thanks!

Have had massages on two different trips. If it isn't top, it's a close second for my favorite spa. The outdoor garden with plunge pools and showers is a must that you need to allow time for.

I did the Kilikili during both visits to Aulani. It was fabulous. I would suggest aulani for the Hydrotherapy Gardens alone.

I'm with the others, do the Laniwai Spa at Aulani! DH and I have done their couples package both times we have stayed there. It's a gorgeous spa and a very nice overall experience. I also would put it as one of my all time top 2 favorite spas. And I am a bit of a spa junkie! :flower:

Laniwai has the only outdoor hydrotherapy garden on the island of Oahu. I have heard good things about the spa at the Westin Hotel on Ka'anapali Beach from a friend that's gone there a number of times. But I don't think there will be any comparison to the overall facilities and amenities.

Thanks all! These hydrotherapy gardens... are they part of a package or available to anyone who books a service there?

You have to be having a service to use the hydrotherapy gardens but it does not have to be a package.

I have been to the Westin Maui one-it was an excellent massage but it was over 7 years ago. Next time I am at Aulani, I am absolutely treating myself to at least a massage because of the hydro therapy area. I wish I would have known it was included the last time I was there...

Laniwai Spa is definitely in my top 2 spas I have ever visited, anywhere. I cannot recall any spa I've ever been to where you do not get access to all the facilities when you book and pay for a service at that spa. It is the same at Laniwai. DH and I have done the Pili Aloha couples package twice and though pricey, we felt it was excellent and when you break down the included spa services included we felt it wasn't a bad deal (by high end spa standards).

We did a couples massage. LOVED the hydrotherapy garden. Go early and enjoy! We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
