Aulani shopping question

So, I saw recently that Shellie May (friend of Duffy) merchandise is now available at Aulani. My girls would love to have the 17" plush to go with their Duffys. We're not heading to Hawaii, but my sister might be. However, I don't know where they would be staying. If they are staying elsewhere, does Aulani allow people to come onsite and shop, or is that only for resort guests?

Yes, you can shop, dine and walk around Aulani, so your sister could pick up a couple of Shellie May bears. She is cute. They also sell outfits for Shellie like they do for Duffy. But they are more expensive than the ones for Duffy (at WDW), one sundress with matching shoes and bow was $28.

If she doesn't stay at Aulani though, she may want to park at the shopping center across the street and walk over since the Aulani parking garage charges to park there.

Aulani does validate the parking for merchandise purchases from the gift shop now (self parking or Valet). So if she spends more than $50 it will be free parking for 4 hours!
