While we knew of the halt of sales at Aulani, we weren't aware of the reasons why....thank you for posting this, as I now have a better understanding of the problem.

I knew that the sales had been halted but this is the first I heard of why. I guess people who already bought at Aulani got a good deal...

Thanks for posting this! When the guide told us that the dues were the same as Kidani Village, I was honestly a little surprised as I imagined them being more.

Rooms at Aulani will cost approximately $500 a night for non DVC members. Shouldn't some of that go towards maintaining the grounds like at any other resort? How is it that all maintenance rests on the shoulders of DVC members when a portion of the hotel is for non DVC members? I'm sure there is an expert out there that can clear this up.

I'm just wondering why the other two executives had to go along with Jim Lewis???

Now, I will just wait for my call from my guide......
