Aulani resort fee

Where can I find how much the resort fee is? I tried the DVC website but I can't find anything.

I do not believe that there is a resort fee at Aulani.

Do you mean the Transient Accommodations Tax that DVC members must pay? If so and IIRC, that is 9.25% times the number of points used times 1/2 of the per-point Aulani maintenance fees. It's paid at check out.

If the above is incorrect, I am sure someone else will jump in and provide the correct info.

We stayed at Aulani in June and I didn't think that there was a resort fee but I just looked over my bill to be sure and there isn't one. The transient tax varies for each guest our was just around $10 per night.

Since there are two different mf's for Aulani (depending on when the points were sold), I wonder which mf is used to calculate the tax...
The lower mf, the higher mf, or some sort of blend of the two?

To my knowledge, the Transient Accommodation Tax is computed on the unsubsidized MF amount of $5.96 per point.

By the way, the tax rate is 7.25%. The formula per point is 1/2 of the 2012 maintenance fee ($5.96/2 = $2.98) times tax rate of 7.25% = $0.21605.
