And need information on what month is better(see dates below).Anyone know if it pricey to fly at any of these times from Detroit,Michigan ??.TIA:cutie:.

We are assuming that the 2017 points will be the same amount.

Adventure Season 2016:
JAN3-FEB20
SEPT4-OCT8
NOV15-21
NOV27-DEC22

We went from January 26th through February 5th this year. It was very uncrowded and saw whales from our balcony. It was the perfect time to be there. We flew from Denver, and the plane tickets were very reasonable.

We went in early September. Kids just got back to school...the place was VERY quiet except for tourists from Japan. Weekends, however, are a different story as locals would come to the resort.

I have been to Hawaii 5 times. Of your dates that you listed I have been in both early Sept. and in late Oct. I would guess that it would be most "summer like" then as opposed to the winter months you listed. Both of thoses trips that I did in the fall were delightful temps / weather. You would indeed be able to see some whales in Jan-Feb although I think it might be a little cooler. I think Dec. might be the rainiest month there… Flights would be the highest over Easter and summer season so I think you could find reasonably priced airfare during any of those dates.

I was there the beg of Feb this year. It was perfect. Not overly crowded, daytime temps ranged mid 80's to one day low 90's. Temps do not very much throughout the year. During the Dec-Mar months you have the whales and higher surfs, which is impressive for surfboard watching. There were plenty of lounges on the beach, but if you you are not early to the pool it may be harder to find lounges around the pool. My parents have been in Hawaii in the Sept-Oct timeframe and did experience a hurricane coming nearby. Also sunrise-sunset times don't have a large fluctuation throughout the year and Hawaii does not go on daylight savings time.
