Aulani Questions

We will be checking in at Aulani in 9 days, yay! I have a couple of questions maybe someone can answer. We are kind of up in the air about using Valet Parking, I know as DVC members we get free parking but we are still considering using Valet Parking. We used it at VGC and really liked it. Does anyone know if we don't add Valet Parking when we first check-in, can we add it later for the remainder of our stay?

Have a question about the seating on the lawn for things such as the Starlit Hui and Movie Nights, etc. My husband and I are Pooh sized and getting older, sitting down on a mat would be okay, it is the getting up again that is the problem....lol. Is there any other seating behind the mats in chairs or is there at least somewhere to stand instead of sitting on the lawn?

I don't know about adding valet parking.

I saw people standing on the sides at the starlit hui show rather than sitting on the mats. I didn't see any chairs in the back.

Yes. There are chairs. You will need to let them know so the can seat you instead of getting a mat for the lawn.

You can add Valet parking at any point of your stay. Just Valet park it and they will take care of any charging. I would recommend seeing where your room is first. Self parking is only available on one side of the resort, so if your room is on the other side it may be advantageous to valet. If your room is on the same side as the Self Parking it may make sense to self park.

Went to the Starlit Hui twice this week. They had a good amount of chairs for those who cannot sit on the ground. On movie night, they had some chairs off to the side as well.

When we went it was Tuesday and Thursday for Starlit Hui, back in August. The whole back of the starlit Hui was set with chairs. You could go right to a chair or go in the back and grab a mat
