Aulani Owners Thread - ALOHA!

I try to avoid making phone calls at all costs so thought Id ask here before forcing myself to call in.

I have tried so many times to link my 2nd reservation the Aulani site online and I get Donald's "had to duck out" error message after it locates my reservation. I have tried the app and it finds my reservation and then I get an error that says unable link members. Is this common? Tips? I have to call don't I?

I have never had an issue. We usually use the app.

Just wanted to update in case anyone else has an issue and finds this in the future. I guess since I have 2 emails one I use for DL and one I use for WDW the system was confused and couldn't link my 2nd reservation. They were able to get it all fixed by phone.

I just became a Blue Card member and I have a chance to modify my trip so I will be there for the last Welcome Home Weeks offering. Is there any way to book in advance to ensure we can attend?

I would email the guide that you just purchased your direct points from to see if they can pull any strings.

Boarding the flight to HNL tomorrow at 8am… leaving the house at 5am… First Class seats booked this trip…. I might or might not be walking around the house listening to the Aulani soundtrack as I pack

We were told you had to wait to book until on site so we did it our first. I recommend doing whatever you can! We did the member celebration the other night. Got some freebies and had a dance party with a few characters. Then at the end had a chance to get pictures with all characters. I was surprised how long they stayed around to make sure you got all the pictures you wanted. Get there early if you want to be close to the stage. The entire lawn was filled. I don't know if this is different from the normal member celebration due to welcome home weeks. It was definitely better than a few years ago when it was more of a sales pitch to buy more points.

We also did the ukulele and tote stamping. The ukulele was the same as the regular offering but the stamping was fun (be careful or wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on).

I think we have one more to do. Maybe Lei making?

Awesome!! Thank you so much! I wouldn’t have thought to bring a shirt we don’t kind getting paint on.

It never even crossed my mind that we might get permanent paint on our clothes. I guess I didn't fully realize what the stamping was. I got most of the paint out but will have to fully tackle it when we get home. There's only so much you can do with limited supplies on vacation.

Also don't forget to get your member gifts at Hoku Hideaway.

And if you do the luau, you can get another small gift...

It says you can go before but they told us to go back afterwards...that makes more sense anyway since you could cancel and not actually do the luau.

FYI, if anyone is interested in the straw hat Mickey baseball caps I would suggest getting it quickly. There were about a dozen in the store last night and they are sold out now. I just purchased the last one at the Lava shack.

Also, Hawaiian/Aulani Halloween merch is in the stores.
