We are newer DVC members and are learning the ropes. We have owned for 1.5 years and have stayed at VGC twice so far, we own there. We are going to Aulani in a one bedroom for 10 nights coming up in a month. Our stays at VGC have only been 3 and 4 nights in a one or two bedroom. We have a few questions.

1. Should we be purchasing Tide pods and Dishwasher soap? We plan to eat in the room a lot more than we would at Disneyland. We are planning to do laundry with how long this trip is.

2. Will they replenish the H2O products or should we be bringing soap and shampoo?

Thank you for any help. We are trying to figure out all of the little details so our time is spent in the lazy river or wandering the island with our two teens.

They’ll give you enough for I Believe 2 loads and replenish on day 4 and 8. I usually bring a few extras and sometimes use them, sometimes don’t.

Bring reusable bags for groceries. Thats all that’s allowed in HI so if you don’t have them, you’ll have to buy them or carry everything.

Dishwasher soap is provided, don't bother with that. Laundry soap you'll only get enough for a few loads, so bring some or buy some on your grocery run. Toiletries we had plenty because of how they were scattered through the room, but we were only there five nights.

We have been successful just asking for more of what ever we need. Never had a problem. They have been very accommodating.

We were there last week. You should have plenty of dishwasher pods. They only gave us enough laundry detergent for two loads. I didn't use them. My daughter has sensitive skin and I brought my own Tide Free and Clear Pods.

Cast members are very helpful and should be able to restock you in the event that you need extras.
