Ever since we went to Aulani, my DW and I have been waiting for a copy of the lobby music on CD / mp3.

So every couple of weeks I scoure the internet looking for the music.

I stumbled across this (and had not seen it before). Marking my calendar and hoping this is true.

I would have to hear it to see if it's the same CD that they use for the lobby music. As it stands currently there is no CD available for purchase of the lobby music

Allegedly the media / special guests got a copy of the lobby CD as part of their goody bag (occasionally one pops up on ebay, but I always seem to miss the auction)

When we were there in September they did say a CD was on the way. Hopign that it's true.....

The CD is indeed available, but only via Japanese markets. You can buy it & ship it as an import, but it is also available via iTunes & Amazon MP3 stores. They also have all the disney songs in hawaiian available, and I would be more than happy to buy it, but I can't, as I am in America.

If you are able to get a hold of it, please let me know & if you would be so kind as to send high quality MP3s, I would be eternally grateful.

The Aulani CD is called Music of The Maka'ala

iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/jp/album/dizuni-aurani-rizoto-myujikku/id543821671?l=en&ign-mpt=uo=4

Amazon MP3: http://www.amazon.co.jp/ディズニー・アウラニ・...ref=sr_1_1_digr?ie=UTF8&qid=1345700009&sr=8-1

Thanks! I know DH is going to want to download this. :goodvibes

If anyone has Pandora on their devices, if you enter Hawaiian music, you will get some lovely selections. Haven't heard any specific Aulani music yet.

Oh, I forgot to add that I bought an Aulani opening day music CD on eBay a few months ago. Maybe there are more there now. I will look on Amazon to see if it is the same one.

Any way you would be willing to make some high quality audio files of this and send it over? I can provide instructions if needed. I just cant seem to get it anywhere! Thanks!

At Aulani now. Anyone able to find this in US or know way to purchase it from within US itunes store?

I wish they would do the music from Aunty's Beach House as well. That was incredible. I don't think the kids even appreciated it.

Thought I would share with you that I just ordered this CD (Music of the Maka'ala) from Amazon. It arrived today after just one day. As you know, this is a very rare CD and there are exactly 3 left. But be warned, it is expensive but after listening to it the music is worth every cent.

Here is the link

So, if you have ever wanted this music, here is where you can get it right here in the USA.

Cheers

That's odd. I have Keali'i Reichel's CD (and have had it for a while) that is entitled, "Aulani: Music of the Maka'Ala". It's on iTunes Store.

Oh, and for those that don't know, Keali'i Reichel was one of the main cultural consultants for Aulani and he wrote the theme music, much of the Starlit Hui (and no doubt choreographed much of the hula for this show as he is an accomplished Kumu Hula). He was at the Blessing Ceremony/Opening for Aulani as well. He is one of my very favorite Hawaiian musicians and has been for years. :cutie:

Hey, Three60guy, I just saw your post about this CD as well. I've had mine a while but I think I bought it through iTunes. Or maybe it was Amazon…..

The Pandora station is just "inspired" by the Aulani. If anything Aulani specific were to show up, it would probably be random.
It's just a nice station...
