Aulani member mingle?

Hi all

Can anyone tell me anything about the member mingle please?

Is it similar to the DVC member meets onboard the DCL cruises?

I always enjoy those, but DH just sees them as a DVC sales pitch. Nothing wrong with that, but if the Aulani member mingle is on the same lines, then I will feel bad persuading the family to go, especially at 8am

Will we be missing out on anything great, if I leave it out of our plans?

It's on Wednesday mornings. The give away a couple of prizes with trivia questions. They show video of excursions you can book.. U get snacks and coffee and lei's and give away hats at end of meeting

We enjoyed the Aulani member mingle. We got lei's, hats and my son won a $50 gift card, we will go again on our next trip! I believe it was on Monday morning.

We went to the Friday evening one about a month ago and it was fun. They had wine, beer, appetizers and brownies. They had some trivia and a raffle for a basket full of Aulani souvenirs. They offered to give people tours of one of the rooms, but it didn't feel much like a sale pitch.
