They did finally release the CD of the Aulani Lobby music!

Music of the Maka'ala has been released on CD but it is only available in Japan.

You can either buy it in iTunes (by switching your iTunes store from the US to the Japanese iTunes store) or buy the CD from amazon.co.jp

I bought my wife the CD for Christmas and it arrived today.

Can't wait to get back to our Aulani home. Maybe oh maybe, we can get there in 2013. But if not, we will DEFINITELY be back in 2014.

Me too. I absolutely fell in love with the music, especially the falsetto music by Darren Benitiz (which you can find on youtube).

I loved the music at Aulani! We loved sitting on our balcony and listening to the music in Waikolohe Valley. I wonder if the CD also has some of the Hawaiian versions of the Disney standards that were played during the pool parties. It was a kick listening to "Its a Small World" sung in Hawaiian!

It does not have the Hawaiian versions of Disney Standards.

You can play samples of the tracks on the amazon.co.jp site or the Japanese version of iTunes.

Been on the prowl for it for a while. They said it was going to come out in July and they had a title for the CD (Music of the Maka'ala). So every once in a while I would do a google search for it but could never find it.

When I need an "Aulani break" at work or in the car or wherever, I made a Pandora Radio station based on Darren Benitiz and Keali'i Reichel. No need to buy a CD and tons more great Hawaiian music! Add in some IZ for fun, too. ;-)
