Aulani late December--is it filling up?

I am hoping to book Aulani at the seven month window for later December/early January, and was wondering if this holiday period was booking quickly with Aulani point owners. Of course, DVC reservations cannot tell me anything about availability over seven months out because I am not an Aulani owner.

Have any Aulani owners had any experience with booking the Christmas/New Years vacation period? How is availability (even though the window has only been opened a couple weeks)? Just trying to get some indication as to whether there will be availability at the seven month window.

I'm an Aulani owner and had to change our rezzies from mid December to right over the holiday and there was no indication that it was filling up fast. We are getting a studio ocean view so I don't know about the larger villas. Hope you are able to get the villa you want.

Any other Aulani owners out there who had any trouble booking the period between Christmas and New Years? Just trying to get a feel for how full the holiday bookings are as of now.
