Aulani June 2025 Trip Report

Ama Ama was an absolutely fantastic. The food, the view, the service. A+

This is our 4th trip to Aulani and we have gone to Ama Ama every time. We skip the wine pairing and order a bottle of Chablis with dinner.

They also added a seafood sampler appetizer which had very high quality ingredients.

Like Mina’s next door, the seafood is what shines here (although they pork belly app is amazing every time). We also love the citrus desert.

Lower Veranda during the day today.

The Ocean was 81 degrees.

A seal came into the lagoon, but luckily they didn’t have to close things down. The staff was ready to call everyone in though.

Food from Off the Hook/Poolside menu was well received by the whole crew. Onion Rings, Ribs, Hummas and Naan Bread, Salad with Catch of the Day.

Coconut Mint Mojitos and Lava Flows are still the most popular with the lady folk.

Now back to the room to shower and head out for a sunset cruise.

Ko Olina Sunset Cruise….

Fantastic time! Would not go with small children, but tweens and up are fine. They have large cushions on the upper part of the boat and seating down below and you can wander between the two wherever you can find a place. Ridiculously friendly staff and crew.

It’s a 6 minute drive from Aulani down to the Marina.

The snack pack they give us was quite substantial. Shrimp, cheese squares, meats, hummus, crackers, grapes, craisins, blueberries, carrots, and a Giradeli chocolate square.

3 drink tickets per adult, but I only had one beer since I had two cocktails earlier this afternoon. Happy to drink more water.

Time for breakfast!
We discovered Longhi’s for dinner on our last trip and loved it so much we went back a second time. I’d give Ama Ama the edge on overall ambiance but the food at Longhi’s was amazing (and didn’t require finding childcare, lol). Did not realize that you could eat brunch there. 🤔🤤

Can you walk to the sunset cruise out of Ko Olina or does it require a car? Looks gorgeous.

1) Longhi’s for a Weekend brunch is pretty much on the must do for us on these trips now. Have not tried it for dinner.

2) COULD one walk to the sunset cruise…. yes… it’s just past the Marriott in the Marina…. and you have to pay for parking 😱

but, if you have kids and/or some less mobile adults… I’d bite the bullet and drive.

Oh that’s good to know. Glad the didn’t move it to app only though.
That would be disastrous for people like me who are not in the US App Store and therefore can’t download the app. I complained about this in 2022 and it still isn’t available for me.

@AstroBlasters I am really enjoying the report. Thanks for posting!

Good Morning DisBoards!

Some Muai Black Tea before heading out for the day!

My aunt decided she wanted to be in the shot.

FYI, I have started to get the “Disney rash” this morning… so make sure to pack Benadryl and Hydrocortisone if you tend to get that at WDW. (I never have an issue at DL).

I didn't get it at Aulani last time, but will be bringing the Benadryl just in case because I have been getting at WDW every visit now.

Kualoa Ranch.

Beautiful drive in. Took about an hour.

Expect to walk a ways when parking.

Meat Lover’s Breakfast Burrito (pre-made)- perfect temperature, hit the spot!

Back at Aulani after an eventful outing.

I’m sure you can see great VLOGs on YouTube with everything in 4k.

Very tired after driving over there, driving a UTV for 2 hours, and then driving back.

A quick rinse off to clear the dusty skin and then down to Ulu for some items to supplement groceries/leftovers.

I’d like to get a shaved ice later…. we’ll see how things go.
