We are thinking of making a trip back to Aulani. Just want to get a feel for how it is to visit right now before we commit. Is it worth it right now? I know Auntie's isn't open for the time being, but is there other closures to be aware of? What about outside the resort? Just want to hear from your experience what you might have thought of it. Thanks!

A lot is closed. You might want to check the Aulani forum on DIS - someone listed out everything closed.

There is also a new deal for DVC owners...may be blue card, but 5 nights for 4 night point cost to visit by end of February.

Does not answer the question but may help in a decision.

Most restaurants and shops in the areas surrounding Aulani (Kapolei, Ewa Beach, etc.) are open for business, but with reduced hours.

Some tourist attractions are open, including Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, Diamond Head, most hikes, all beaches, Kualoa Ranch, the zoo, Bishop Museum, and Dole Cannery. Polynesian Cultural Center will be opening soon (if they haven't already).

The Waikiki Aquarium, Sea Life Park, and many, many businesses and restaurants in Waikiki have not reopened.

Whales are in Hawaii, and that’s a reason we would visit. We had a Vrbo visit booked for end of February/ March, but cancelled because we are high risk.

Good to know! Thanks for the response!
