I am currently just a resale white card holder. I have plans to buy direct by the end of Sept. My question is about direct benefits at Aulani and if it's worthwhile to make it a point to become direct before our trip thats in a month.
Here are benefits that I know of
"Welcome home weeks" unfortunately every one of these events do not fall within our trip dates
10% off Cabanas/Casabellas
Discount on merchandise and dining. I already have a Disney Visa, is the DVC discount much higher than the Visa 10%? Is it available at all locations within the resort?
Ukulele lessons, but I see that anyone can book free Ukulele lessons, is the DVC option different?
There's a mini cooking demonstration/drink demonstration. We have dietary restrictions so the food isn't an option for us, and we are traveling with a kid so the alcohol one is off the table too.
I saw something about a sparkly wristband.. but not something that will motivate me to sign on the dotted line asap.
A gold souvenir coin possibly?
What other direct blue card DVC perks am I missing?
Thanks!!
