OK so what are the chances of a 2BR standard view in Aulani at 7 months?

I will be booking this for June 2014 which according to the points chart is the
2nd lowest season in Aulani

Its not impossible, but June is a popular month at Aulani. Schools are no longer in session so more families travel to Hawaii. Equally important, members try to take advantage of the cheaper Choice Season rates. A Standard View two-bedroom costs 357 points during Choice Season, but jumps to 420 points during the Magic Season.

I also think that Standard View accommodations are very popular with locals who visit Aulani, especially on weekends. On a few occasions that I've checked availability at Aulani, I've noticed Fridays or Saturdays being booked well before Sunday through Thursday.

Good luck!

OP just for fun I looked to see what was available and I don't know your dates so I just picked random dates to see how open it looked ((at this moment in time)) and it's spotty, I suspect though Island views will be no issue at 7 mos. There's just not that many standard villas.

Good luck though, you never know your actual dates may be available when it's time to book :)

I don't think you will have a problem booking. We just book at the 7 month window and got an ocean view 1 bedroom for 8 nights for the last week of March, its near the high season. Rooms requiring the least amount of points go much faster... good luck!

We have booked June 17th through June 23rd in an island view 2 bedroom. We were originally going for 7 nights in a standard view 2 bedroom but we could not get it so we dropped down to 6 nights at the better view. We purchased Aulani points just to get the 11 month window because we heard it was very difficult at the 7 month window. You may want to look at the better views. Good Luck.

We booked a 2 bedroom standard for February 4-14 at the 7 month window. Well, I guess I should say we wait listed it. It was missing 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday. So, I booked the island garden view and waitlisted. Wait list came through 2 days later.

We want a 2 bedroom in June 2014, too. I'm nervous about getting it....

What are the chances of getting a 1bedroom or studio for beginning of Sept? It will be over labor day weekend.

I think with the lower points during that "season" the competition at 7 months with Aulanui owners for getting a "standard view" will be tough. You should make a "Plan B" and a "Plan C" just in case. If you go into it saying it HAS to be a standard view 2 bedroom or nothing then you are really going to limit your chances. Be prepared that you may have to go up a notch to "island view". Although it's not a perfect plan waitilisting MAY come through too....I know I wouldn't be comfortable buying airfare with only a waitlist tho. I would want a finalized plan first. Good luck!!!

Yeah i have other plans i can bust it up into. Like 2 studios but don't care about the view. The only reason i want standard view 2BR is becasue i really do not want to go into my 2015 points

I will be trying too and will be using 3 years worth of points if need be. :) Just for fun I put in our dates on the Disney site for a room if we didn't have points. Wowzers a week at Aulani in a 2 bedroom(doesn't tell me the view so I thinking standard) was Grand Total of $22,671.60. That came to $2,842.80 a night that is insane. I know they have a special now getting one night free but even then. Wow.

We want a studio in June so hope we can get it. W.e will take any view and can travel as early as June 7. Is this wishful thinking??
