How difficult is it to book Aulani 7 months out??

I don't know if it depends on the time of year, but I can tell you that booking around the 4th of July was really difficult! I would never do that again -- the resort was over 100% booked (one cast member told us it was at 105% but I have no way to verify that information). We wouldn't have done it this year except that was the only week all summer we could manage to get all the work and activity schedules to line up. I actually ended up borrowing some points from next year to book an extra couple of days to guarantee we ended up with the days we needed which will make planning our next big trip (in 2017) a little more difficult since I will have banked points I'll need to use or lose before our UY ends.

Depends on the time of year and the type of unit you want. I have been able to book studios for early-mid-August 2x now. Both times I was online and ready to hit submit the second the clock turned to 8:00 on the computer. The first time we booked OV but then had to cancel the entire trip at the last minute due to a medical emergency with our DS. The next year we re-booked an IV studio and when we finally went the resort was at 100% capacity. NOW they're changing the point charts for next year and making pretty much the entire summer in the premium season so more people may try to book at off-times when the points are less. It's hard to say how it will affect demand….there will always be some that can only travel during the summer…and I would expect that early June before the points increase will be extremely difficult. I would suggest to try to be as flexible as you can with what type of view you book etc. Be ready to book whatever is available if your dates are not flexible. If you can be flexible with your dates you probably have an even higher chance of getting in.

How difficult is it to book Aulani 7 months out??

Lat year we had no problem at all booking at 7 months out, we booked a 1BR Ocean view for 7 nights... I booked it at exactly the 7 month mark, but also was worried that we would not get what we were hoping for...It all worked out
