We are planning our first trip to California and want to visit Disneyland, CA and some other sights. What kind of weather and crowds can I expect in August and maybe the last week in July?

Very warm to hot, 80-90's...crowds at DLH will be high because of summer and schools out.

Crowds will be high because its summer and its DL's 60th anniversary and temperature will also be high. But if you could stretch out your disney time to more like 3 days, you should be able to get everything accomplished in both parks.

The weather will be hot with a chance of hot and definitely crowded also. At least its a "dry" heat unlike Florida? It is a smaller Park so leaving to take a mid day break is quicker if you are staying at one of the hotels in the area.
