August Weekends?

Is there any difference in crowd levels between August weekdays and weekends?

I'm thinking of a 3 or 4 night break during 1st or 2nd week of August. Which would be better Mon-Fri or Fri-Mon?

Although the weekends are busier, it's busy in August full stop so there's not quite the advantage of going midweek that you'll get the rest of the year. Also, if I remember correctly the price banding is the same all summer (rest of year it's cheaper to start holidays on Sunday, Monday etc).

I'd suggest if you wish to go to either of the Sunday character brunches (at Inventions or the Steakhouse in the Village) then go over the weekend - if you're not interested in either then I'd go midweek.

Don't let the thought of crowds put you off - August is my favourite month to go. We've always found with EMH and fastpass we've done everything we've wanted to and IMO the late summer evenings and fireworks far outweigh any crowds/queues.

Thanks for that. I've still got to convince the rest of the family but you sound quite positive about August.

I've only been in winter before which was very quiet but obviously no fireworks and large numbers of restaurants and attractions shut for the season.
