August Vacation

Does anyone remember any of the rates they paid for early August vacations? We're booked at the ASMo but I always dream of a good upgrade deal.

I paid about $78 including tax, a night at ASMu last August (first week). I think I had a DC or AP discount on the room. -HM

This is off-site and only Sun through Thursday, but the Courtyard by Marriott is having their 20.03 rates Aug 1 thru Sept 30. This bargain price lets DH and I plan an anniversary trip without our kids. And for the price, the CBM is fine.

Is the Marriott 20.03 deal out yet for August????
I stayed there two years ago at the 20.01 rate and loved it.

Did you call the Marriot directly for the 20.03 rate? Is there a special code that you need to mention?

Yes I called them directly at 407 828-8888 and just asked for the $20.03 rate. The reservation agent was surprised I knew about the rate--it's supposed to hit the papers Sunday, but I'm all set. She was very nice to work with. The rate is billed immediately and is non-refundable. But at that price--wow!

At Port Orleans/FQ last August for $84 plus taxes a night.......
