DH and I are considering a short trip (4-5 days) in August for our anniversary. We did this one other time and stayed at the BWI and although it was hot, we had a good time, we did spend a lot of time at the resort, though.
Now I got an postcard from Disney with Value rates of $58 per night. Of course the discount can be applied to other resorts, however, $58 a night is pretty attractive. The only Value available is AS Sports. We are the type of travellers who take advantage of the resort amenities, we always go back to the resort at lunch time and hang out for a few hours before going out for the evening. Will AS Sports totally be the wrong place for us? Previously we have stayed in the BWI, Poly, BWV, Carib. Beach.
Old Key West is available at a decent rate, as is WL and BC. I don't know what to do, it isn't a matter of budget so much as $58 a night sounds like a steal! If Pop was available, I wouldn't hesitate, but I don't know if Sports is going to cut it for our anniversary trip.
