August - September 2013 Room-only Discounts

Since I have been driving myself crazy trying to stay in budget for this vacation (going well over what DH and I decided on), I have decided while we are there in August I will book the bounceback if there is any chance we will return next year.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much for us. We booked a great rate through a TA for the YC. We were going to switch to a mod if FD came out for our dates (8/24-8/31) as it would save us a lot, even over the big discount we currently have. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Still psyched for the YC and the great deal we got! Hope others can save some $$ with the RO offer.

I already book a room and tix at POR. If a ro discount comes out can I just call and have it applied or do I need to rebook?

Oh yes...we will be loving our pool time in the August heat!!!!! We are the family with the 3 look alike daughters each a year apart counting down the days.........

We'll look for you! We'll be the family with three boys, who look nothing alike (really - my oldest is blond, middle is a redhead, and my youngest has brown hair - no idea how this happened ). And they're spread out - they'll be 16, 12 and 8 on our visit...

Right there with ya!! I was convinced last year that we were going to skip a year - do a different vacation in 2013 . I need to always, always book the bounceback....

Us too. We were gonna skip a year and go some place else, but alas we all wanted to go back. We just have so much fun together. Our kids are growing too quickly. How many more years will we really have to enjoy it all with them? Hope everyone gets good deals and has a great time on their trips.

Love it!!! My girls are 9, 8 and 7 and seriously look like triplets. The same person just in small, medium and large lol

I am trying to look on the bright side of things...missing free dining by 3 days is a real heartbreaker, but my husband's job requires him to request his vacation in October for the following year so there's no way to change it.

I may not save $1000+ but with this discount I might be able to save $40 Regardless, I will be going to Disney in 5 months, so who can be sad about that

That shouldn't be a problem, as it's happened for the summer discount...quite early in fact. The public offer didn't go live until Tuesday, while the Visa offer began on Thursday. That was quite the head start.

Black, any word if Nemo rooms at AoA will be included? Our trip is Aug 14-23 and I've been having trouble getting any sort of discount on them (well, at least the first night for now - no AAA, no GP, no AP). TIA!

AOA suites would be, not the LM rooms though.

Hello,

Lucky enough to be at the Contemporary August 14-17. Secured the RO discount for the 14th. Is there a minimum night stay for the RO discount possibly coming? Very fortunate to be on the Fantasy on the 17th and a discount will help us add some excursions we were planning on skipping.

No problem, it was kind of burried in the other. Maybe now I don't have to worry about any "who was first" post wars starting....I hope not anyway.
