*AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2011* Six weeks today!

I'm starting to get way too excited, I think. Today is six weeks until the day. And for the past 14 hours I've been going up to my family and thinking to myself about the itinerary of the day...

12:14 AM - Now is when I'll be lying in bed trying to sleep unsuccessfully due to excitement

4:00 AM- Now is when I'll jump out of bed and finish packing while Dad and my brother go out to a 24 hour deli to pick up breakfast

5:30 AM- Now is when the taxi will arrive to bring us to the airport

and so on... If you're curious, now is the time when I will be settling in at CSR.

I fully plan on doing a trip report (my first one yet) I am so excited! What a great way to end the summer!

Ditto!! I'm at 5 weeks today and I'm SUPER excited!!

DH and I are going for our first kid free Disney trip...have a little guilt a
about leaving them behind but when I think of running around Disney with DH without having to worry about anyone else or what we can or can't do, I get nearly euphoric! (Plus, they'll have a blast at grandma's for the week.)

I'm pretty much organized, have made the last minute adjustments to my ADR's, called DRC yesterday and made my room request for BC ~ just need to pick up a few things. I'm currently on the hunt for small mister fans...never been to FL in the summer and I'm not a huge fan of the humidity. Although, I'm guessing the temps there can't be much worse than they are here in Jersey. Ok, I'm blabbing! I'm like a little kid when I get excited

kdka: wow another person going on the 29th! What a happy coincidence. And sure. Doin the dance!

jerseygirl: that's awesome! We're near NYC so we're feeling the heat too. I call it training for Florida. We check Disney every day since this was sort of a surprise last minute trip and some of our ADRs aren't exactly at ideal times. You never know when someone will cancel... Otherwise my mom and I need to go get our Disney pedicures and packing but that's about it. So incredible excited.

You're absolutely right...never know when someone will cancel. We just canceled a bunch of ADR's and switched them out for others so it does happen. Enjoy your last minute planning!

16 Days til we are in Florida!!! We are going to Universal for 2 nights and then move over to Beach Club for 6 more nights!!! We have our misting fans from 3 years ago...a must have. They sell lanyards to hang the misting fans around your neck. They were a godsend for our three DDs when we went in Aug 08. Not thrilled about the heat and humidity but my kids are getting older and it's too hard to miss that much school anymore.

Ahhhh we still need to get our misting fans! We usually opt for the ones at WalMart instead because they're much cheaper, though.

I remember very vividly not having a mister one day in Epcot, walking across the bridge from future world to world showcase (where there is no shade and the sun can be quite opressive) and there is a very strategically placed mister stand there. I looked upon it longingly and remember thinking, "Never again will I do this to myself."

Only 44 more days to go and we just finished the final touches on our ADRs today. I sure can't wait for MNSSHP. My DD 6 is even going to let me dress her as Belle for Akershus. She is very shy and doesn't like any attention drawn to herself so this is a huge treat for Mommy. My DH and I are just going to wear our Mardi Gras masks for the MNSSHP. We are going to get our fans and Brita water bottles this week. I hear the Orlando water is not the greatest. I love coming to the dis! It gets me sooooo excited for our trip.

My DD 6 is even going to let me dress her as Belle for Akershus.

Belle is my all time favorite princess. I dressed up for her on my very first trip for Halloween. I think I'll make a return to that costume :3

I see you're from NY...hubby and I are both from NY as well, and just got back Wednesday from a trip home to see my family and explore the area because we want to move back! We miss NY so much Whereabouts are you from? I grew up outside of Albany.

Yay! Though I do love that area, we're from much further downstate. Westchester County. It's a suburb of the city and about 20 minutes away from
Manhattan. It's a really great place to grow up but I'm starting to get the travel itch myself. Knowing me, though, I'll probably end up near or in NYC because I love it too much
