Ok so we are in the process of booking next years holiday, ideally we need to be in school holidays so are looking at last two weeks in august (2 wks) or maybe May for 10 days. our last holiday to florida in May was VERY inexpensive as we got last minute direct flights with Monarch for £213 pp!!!!:thumbsup2 however we can now only go in school holidays because of my job.

i missed the thread a few weeks back that wayneg posted with cheap flights so my question is, is this likely to happen again? would you wait until nearer the time and take a chance? i would maybe rather go in August so that i could enjoy the hol knowing i will have a couple of days to recover rather than in May i would be back to work the following day!!

any advice/ tips would be great!!! x

We just can't know if any more deals will show for next August, I hope they do as we want 6 seats but I really wished we had been in a position to book the last offer. Its looking like we will have to book late March/early April at the earliest so I will also miss any New Year deals if any show.
Good luck finding what you want.

Thanks Wayne! i am gutted i didnt book in the sale you posted but didnt know about my job ect but think im leaning towards May at the moment! hope you get a great deal! :thumbsup2

If you can get to Dublin then United fly direct to MCO for between 400-500 next August.

That's my backup in case other routes don't drop in price although I did a dummy booking on United's website and couldn't select extra legroom which is a necessity on a long flight for us (well, just me actually).
