August Park closing hours?

There are 3 disney sites I frequent, this one, WDW's and allearsnet. All three have conflicting closing hours for certain days in early August.

Should I assume WDW's own website would have the correct hours?

Also - extra magic hours.... I know morning means 1 hour early opening, but how are the evening ones working out? On their given EH day, is a full 3 hours given to each of the four parks (doubting MK would be open until 2am if the schedule states normal operating hours are until 11pm) Is AK open until 9pm if closing at 6? How does it work in Epcot?

I would go with the official WDW site. Theses sites probably havnen't been updated yet and you can be assured that if you go by the WDW site, they will have the most up to date info. But check often cus WDW frequently changes hours

I don't know if the WDW site is that reliable! I have been trying to find out how evening emh at epcot works. The normal hours for Future World are 9-7, but supposedly the evening emh are until 12 am. World Showcase is normally open till 9, so it should close at 12 am, according to the webite. But now I find out from another dis member that World Showcase is not even open past it's usual closing time. For a park as huge as epcot, there are only a handful of attractions open, which means that anyone who does evening emh will be vying for the same few attractions in Future World. Argh!

Yes this is correct!!!!! If you go to the wdw site you can see the attractions that are open for emh most are in futrue world. I believe el rio tempo and malestrom may also be open.

yes, Mk will be open until 2AM with EMH. Epcot until midnight. Both on the same night too-8/1!

I noticed that 8/8 there are evening EMH for both Ep and MK also! Has that happened before? Does it help the crowds? I sure hope so - I'm planning on giving it a shot anyway but I can't decide which EMH to do - most likely MK since that is bound to be the most crowded when it is the only EMH night. Hopefully Epcot will draw off some people and make it a little less congested!

My thoughts exactly about going to MK (besides, that's my DS fave park). Looks like you'll be coming to POFQ at the tail end of our stay there. We'll be there 7/30-8/8. And no, I haven't seen them do 2 EMH's at the same time. Probably means they are planning on a lot of visitors those 2 weeks. bummer!

All the more "kids" to play with at the park I havn't had any trouble making ADRs for the times I'm looking for though. Then again, maybe we're the only ones planning on eating, or maybe the places we've chosen are the ones everyone avoids
