Hello everyone,

I have begun planning my vacation. At first I was thinking about going to Universal but the Disney magic was just too strong and that was dropped. Maybe next year I will finally do Universal.

Anyway I went to Disneyworld last August and despite the heat, rain, crowds I enjoyed it. However there was so much I didn't see.

So the question is should I go in August again (August 1-11); birthday August 3rd or should I go in September 5-15 or 12-23? Both have pros and cons.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just my opinion, but I like Sept. We are going Sept 22 thru 28. I chose this time of the year because of rates and crowds. My 2 and 3 yr old are going to need a break in the afternoon for down time, so we can swim or nap through much of the worst heat of the day. With little ones, waiting in lines can really be a nightmare and crowds can be a major factor. I'm also thinking that since school will be starting back up, there will be much less competition for attention from CMs for the kiddos. My little ones are a somewhat shy and could easily get passed over due to more outgoing children being around. Or course, there is the not so small element of being value season as well. It never hurts to save money!:teeth:

No matter when you go, there will be Disney magic!

September is definately better, there are very low crowds and it's a lot cheaper and the weather is a little better!

Have fun!

september is when you should go!! I love to go that time of year, despite the humidity, there are no crowds. I have walked onto RnR at 2 pm and had no wait at all!! TT is usually only 5-15 mins max wait, as are all rides. Never a problem getting into restaurants, and PS can be done the same day usually. Im am glad my first trip was done in sept, and thats the time of year i will always go. You can just relax and see it all without all the crowds.

If my dd were younger and missing school weren't such a huge deal, we would be going in Sept. We have been late Oct and it was great weather wise. Now, we go in August and just deal with the heat/humidity/rain. Have no choice. But since you do, Sept is a better bet.

We went Sept. 10-18th last year. It was great! The wait times for the rides were 0-15min, no lines to see characters longer than 5 or 6 other children, and still plenty warm to enjoy pools etc. Sept. will be our standard travel month after this next trip. Good luck with your decision.:)

Thanks for the advice everyone. It looks like it will be a September trip for me; now I just need to start saving more money for the trip. Also a little concerned about shorter park hours but smaller crowds is a big plus for me.:crowded:

Another vote for Sept. - I am now so spoiled w/ low crowds and not waiting in lines, I could never go any other time.
