If they had been from Manchester I would have booked. Biz class would be great at the right price but if cheap economy come along 1st I will not risk waiting.

Have you flown into Miami before? Whats the drive time to Disney? Its something we might consider, maybe have a couple of days in miami before driving to disney.

No, never been to Miami. We have considered it a few times, probably stay down there 1st night and see Miami then drive up next day.

I haven't flown to Orlando for several years, but usually we go somewhere else in Florida on our trip as well - a friend has a place in Sanibel for example.
Last trip we flew with VA to MIA, which was fine. The drive back from WDW was about 4.5 hours taking it fairly easy.
We always stay overnight in Miami on arrival as don't fancy a long drive late afternoon/evening after the flight and 5 hours time difference.

Just found out you can book on AA.com in $USD cheaper than on UK site.

Direct flights LHR~MIA £401 (673.80 USD)

Indirect from Manchester to Miami from £398

Been messing with different options, can get MAN~Mia(1 stop) outbound MCO~MAN return (2 stops) £398.

All these options are a lot more on UK version of their site but you can book in $USD.

Mine is automatically giving me prices in pounds - if I clear my cookies will I be able to access the US site?

You can book if you tick country of residence U.S. & All Others

Their Terms say Customers residing in select European and Asian countries may purchase tickets on one of our Worldwide sites. UK is in the list of select counties that can book in US$

Not gone all the way thru to booking but someone I know has rung and asked and yes it can be done.

We need to fly out 14th/15th and come back on the 28th/29th. Unfortunately back at work on September 1st next year :scared1:

Have got the US dollars back but can't get both dates - I'm checking on the bit that says "I can be flexible with my dates".
