We will be in WDW the beginning of August and will probably stay about 8 days. We plan on visiting the gulf side at the end for some relaxation time-our two boys have never been to a warm water beach-only beaches they've been to is Atlantic provinces in Canada.
Can't make up my mind between Sarasota/Siesta Key etc. area or St. Pete's/ Clearwater area. We won't do Busch Gardens so proximity to that area is not an issue. Really looking for an area that is not overun by wall to wall large hotels-non hectic, lots of white sand and far-extending ocean vistas. Any recommendations for accomodations would be greatly appreciated-would need to be wheelchair accessible and preferrably no steps down to beach. Something right on the beach would be great. Leaning toward Siesta Beach area but don't know.
