August feedback

Yes it will be hot and yes it will be crowded. But we went around this same time frame last year and liked it so much (sans the rain that never seemed to end) that we are going again this year. There is just something about going to WDW in the summer!

Just go with a plan and take breaks. Plan for lighter sit down meals and a swim at your resort pool. Drink lots of water. You'll be fine. ENJOY!

We were at WDW last August and it was very hot. Too hot in most cases. We spent a great amount of time at the water parks, and my mother who was traveling with us who has medical issures (only 54 years old :() most days had to stay in the hotel room once it got afternoon.
It will be very hot and very crowded. If you are traveling with very small children, people with medical conditions, or elderly, I suggest you try to stay indoors or at the water parks/pools as much as possible during the hotest parts of the day.
As great as our trip was, I'm not sure I would do August again, due to the heat.

We went 2 years ago at this time of year and we are going again this year - we have mostly travelled in the summer months and the end of August is still much better than July for crowds. We don't mind the heat - but will go back to our room if it gets too much and go out later.

It will be hot and it will rain for about 45 minutes every day right around four pm. The good news is that lots of people will leave the park when it rains.

Go early, eat and rest when it gets super hot, and stay late.
