Hi there, we are an experienced Disney family of 4 (kids 10, 6) taking my 80yo dad. He's pretty easygoing - we'll get him park tickets and we have APs. We'll probably get G+ because our room and tix are mostly already paid for (DVC and APs). My sister decided to join with her family (SO, 7yo DD, 11.5 mo twins) - we couldn't get them a room with DVC points anywhere near us, so I am using my Marriott points to get them a room at the Dolphin (we are staying at Beach Club). We will probably also cover many of their meals. It's been a while since we have had babies in strollers at WDW (and we've never had two at a time), so we (sis and I) have a few questions:
1. Stroller: yes they are renting one, any recommendations for company or brand? We've always rented a City Mini, but it's been a while.... (also, will more companies deliver to the Dolphin). Any other gear they should be thinking about?
2. Genie+: They will be getting PHs like my dad so we have maximum flexibility for ADRs, etc. Should they get G+? Do they have to get it for the whole length of ticket? It's end of August, so traditionally very low traffic times. Not sure they will need it, and I might be inclined to go day by day and see what crowds look like.
3. They (and my dad) will be on CA time. My dad typically would get a later start and meet us, and on select days start early with us. Any suggestions for " scheduling" etc? We typically would go early in the AM, break midday for pool etc, then go back in the later afternoon and for dinner. But we (our family of 4) are pretty flexible because we go so often.
4. Anything else we should be aware of? We've been with babies but never with twins who may or may not be walking by then.
5. We have enough room to host my 7yo niece for a sleepover for one or more nights. We could certainly add her to our room (we have space, just not enough for +5 people), that should not mess up their tickets, and room keys if they are staying at the Dolphin? (Does that change if we add one of her parents so they could use our room as a break space with the babies)? I am assuming they will probably want to manage MDE themselves.
Thanks for all your tips!
