August Exercise Challenge...Everyone Welcome!

85 minutes running tonight. Gosh I'm tired! That's my longest run since last years wine and dine half in November. But it's the first time since then that I actually felt like maybe I can do 13 miles again. So it's a good tired!

Thanks everyone for asking about my DS's first day of kindergarten. I think it went well! He's happy he's sitting by his best friend. (I'm less than thrilled bc I don't want him to get distracted or in trouble) but all I really want is for him to like going to school. So far so good. Tomorrow is the first full day and his first lunch in the cafeteria and recess. Another big step!

I had a bad week exercise wise. I ended up pulling my Achilles tendon last Monday so exercise has been really inconsistent since then but I'm hopefully back on track today.

I'm not sure when the last time I posted but as of this mornings run I'm up to 986/1600. Don't think I'm going to hit my goal this time around though. That week really set me back. Oh well, back on the wagon!

I just returned from WDW - awesome trip and I ran every morning but one while there. My runs were shorter, as I was walking all day long. I kept track, but will just offer the total for the time.

WDW vacation exercise - 920 minutes

Looks like I will come up short this month, but I lost too many days to travel. My official training for the Goofy begins tomorrow morning.
 
Emotional week for me - while Fig was sending her baby to K, I was delivering my two babies to college. One going 5 hours north, the other 2.5 hrs west. You know they're ready to go, but your heart squeezes and cries for them to stay....ugh.
