August Exercise Challenge: "Every Day is a Good Day for Disney - AND for Exercise"

(I keep needing to remind myself to post my own minutes, because I'm more focused on the fun stuff every morning!)

I had the same problem last month ... I kept forgetting to post my minutes because I was writing up the morning post. I tried posting my minutes at night before bed ... but I usually just went to update the first post and forgot to post my minutes then too!

Speaking of the first post ... I just looked at it again, and I love all the colors!

As for me...
15 minutes of exercise yesterday, and 105 today.
Puts me at ...757/1050

I'm hoping to hit 75% in the next few days so that I can "slack off" a bit when my cousins come in from out of town.

I just found this thread and would like to join in if possible? Since there are 15 days left in the month(counting today) I will go off of that. My goal is 520 minutes for the rest of the month

*20 minutes of Zumba ~ 20/520 - Skipped a few days last week and now I definitely feeling it xD

:welcome: We're glad to have you!

And Happy "Terrific Tuesday" everyone!
Our Walt Disney quote for today is:
“The age we’re living in is the most extraordinary the world has ever seen.”

Yesterday was a great boost to our total, with over 1000 team minutes reported!!!

(My own were not up to plan, as being a mom trumped exercising, but I did squeeze in 15.)

We do have two new color changes:
Pix13dust - straight through to Pixie Dust Purple, and
Dentam - reaching Pixie Dust Purple as well!!!
:figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment::figment:

Congrats everybody, and keep up the good work!

I love this quote. And it's just as true now as it was then. I always say that we live in the most amazing time - between the technological advances and the political and social changes going on in the world, we really are doing amazing things.
But it was just as true in Walt Disney's time - things were constantly changing, quality of life was improving, and new technologies were being created.

That's the nature of the world we live in. We have so much potential to change things and create a better world. And as long as we use that potential for good, we will always be living in the most extraordinary age.

pix13dust you look fabulous, strong and happy! :cool2:

roxymama have fun on vacation! :thumbsup2

:welcome: disneybell2015!

26 minutes of walking brings me to 800/1000 We are totally socked in with smoke from the wildfires all around us so there isn't going to be a lot of activity happening until the air quality improves. :sad2:

Keep up the good work all! :cheer2:

I managed to do my Couch to 5k last night, so that was 41 minutes total! My body is so sore, and it's been that way since the weekend so I am not sure why. Hmm...

My total is 386/1000! Just gotta keep moving I suppose!

Good job to everyone else!!!

Strreeeeettttch! It's the only thing helping me from being really sore lately. Stretch before going out and then again when you get home. (unless you are already stretching, then just ignore me :)! )

Well, life definitely caught up with me this past week. I had a death in the extended family and ended up taking a 3-day road trip to attend the funeral with my sister. So I'm a little behind in my training.

Wednesday 8/12: 59 minutes running
Thursday 8/13: 27 minutes running
Sunday 8/16: 92 minutes running
Monday 8/17: 20 minutes cross-training

So now I'm at 617/1500
