August - Crowds and back to School

Just remember, regardless of how many people might visit, and when, the best rule of attack is to arrive at opening or as close as possible. Attend MM if you can manage, I never seem to be able to. Collect your fast passes throughout the day. Utilize SR Passes when and where available. And pace yourself, so you do not become too tired. Going back to your hotel during the day at some point, is a good idea, if the park is becoming crowded to the point of no return. Then return during the evening. Or stay the entire day, I do that quite often. Again, it is all about how you pace yourself.

The week starting Monday, August 29th is a good one. The week before will most likely be packed with AP holders and the weeks before that are still summer crowds.

This is when we'll be there! We'll be in Cali for a wedding so we're going to take advantage of being down there to go to DL, so we didn't really get to decide when we'll be going. I figure it will be ok, during the week, the APers have already had a week, no expo, no run, no long weekend, some kids some places will be back in school. And we'll make the most of it regardless of how busy it is!
