August car rental for a day or 2 or 3 ??

Hi there ..
i have been searching over this thread and reading that most people are renting for at least a week and getting some good deals..

how about those renting for a day or 2 ?? anything outstanding ?
after a light search it seems that most places are very similar in price for a few days ...
any comments / insight / any deals ??

The words "August rentals" and "good deal" do not go together this year. August rentals are BRUTAL. Are you looking to rent from the airport or in the middle of your trip? If you can swing your rental to be over a weekend and maybe from one of the off-airport locations from Thirfty/Budget/Avis near WDW you might be able to book a reasonable rate. Try using the codes and weekend coupons over at Mousesavers.
