All that fuss about the heat and crowds in August was so wrong. Everything was perfect. I mean from day One to the last day was near perfect weather The first four days we were in Orlando it didn't even rain and the weather was maybe 79 - 85 degrees with great wind breezes (it was a rain storm in near the coast making Orlando beautifully cooler). On Thursday it rained off and on all day but by 4 pm it pretty much had stopped and cool weather followed. The crowds weren't nearly as bad as people talked about. On Friday Aug 15 we went to Sea World and the crowds were NOTHING. Maybe 10 -15 minute wait for any show or ride.
I would give everyone a complete Trip Report but it would be a downer because I went with 3 other families and one was having major money problems and restricted some of us of really enjoying ourselves. Matter of fact. I was so angry by the end of my 10 day vacation, to calm me down - my husband promised to take us back during our spring break in March 2004 (We both teach in St. Louis Public Schools). So I guess I need to start my count once again. Next time were going ALONE!!!!!!!
