August 6, 2005 Mexican Riviera..Who's In?

Jenny, that sounds like a lot of fun. You will have to tell us all about the festivities.

Well, Jenny....did Brynee have fun? I bet she looked fantastic! I love seeing them get all dressed up like Princesses. That's one of the most fun things about having girls.

Turns out, I will not be at Disneyland in May. I WILL still be there the weekend you all get off the ship..... But I cancelled the longer trip.
My life changes so much from one day to the next...if I didn't have a mirror, I'd not remember who I was!
The most I can say for right now is that I cancelled the trip for a good reason.

:( :worried:

Stacey - I'm sorry to hear you won't be at DL this month. I was planning to  when I walked by the GC! If you want any Grad items just let me know.

Brynee did have a great time at prom!! She and her BF came back to the house and watched a movie (no after-prom parties for them); then after he left she filled me in on the details - I think she was getting dress ideas for next year ::yes::

She also learned she is cast in the Beauty and the Beast production as a lead dancer (object). She thinks she may be a fork or spoon but I told her to hold out for a dessert...something chocolate :mickeybar !!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

That is very funny Jenny! A chocolate dessert would be yummy! :earboy2:

We just found out that our town youth theater summer play is "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" which is my favorite show (so far). Jess is going to try out for it because the show dates don't clash with her summer camp show. She would have camp 9am to 4pm and then rehearsal for the other play Monday to Thursday evenings for July. We had to watch my video of "Joseph" with Donny Osmond to hear the songs.

Cathy

Cathy - It sounds like Jess will be having a busy summer too! Brynee and I saw a production of "Joseph" last summer and really enjoyed it. Kevin Max from the Christian rock group DC Talk was Joseph. Brynee hasn't been on line much, but when she does get on she checks to see if Jess is available to :chat: .

We are anxiously waiting for FedEx to arrive tomorrow. Only 2 tickets and DD Traci wants to go but it interferes with a bio class and she would arrive about 2 hours later in the morning; Brynee doesn't want to watch the premiere of the parade by herself - I hope we get this resolved before we leave the house tomorrow :earseek: Either way, I know Brynee will have a great time! I was thinking because I'm going to Grad Nite soon then Traci should go to the Sneak Peek.

Checking in too. Sorry I've been scarce. So much going on right now between work, end of school activities, etc. I'm getting ready for a reunion in a few weeks which means I have about 3 weeks to re-learn Dvorak's 4th symphony and a new piece that I can't even pronounce the name of. :earseek: We're finishing up with soccer, brownies, swimming, and recitals for violin and singing. I am so looking forward to summer.....;)

Checking in too.....life has been crazy here too. I guess it's that "end of the school year" rush.

Good News/Bad News:
The good news is that it turns out that we get to cruise the Mexican Riviera with Mickey afterall. This came as a huge surprise to me on Friday.

The bad news is that it isn't with you guys. :(

I am glad to be going at all....afterall, my Tag does say that I thought California needs Disney cruise ships...and it's my dream.....but........there's no one on the cruise we're on! We are taking my parents, so I will have someone to talk to......I guess.

The other good news is that you will have your own little "Information Central" when I get back. Anything you might want to know...think about it ahead of time, so that I can find out. Just make a note to me on here.
We sail from June 4th to the 11th.....not a long wait...but not much time to get ready.
Especially since my parents are coming and I have two Vegas trips between now and the cruise. I just won't unpack!

Off to bed.

Stacey 2 words to remember for your cruise.....SHOPPING INFORMATION!!!

Stacey, I'm so glad you get to go! Its too bad it won't be with us but I'm jealous, yours is right around the corner!

:cheer2: I am so glad you will get to cruise the Riviera Stacey! That will be cool to hear what it is like ahead of time. It will be easier for you to participate in our posts too. Is there a thread for the 6/4 cruise?

I needed a NOTE for THAT?? Ha!
I figured that would be the easiest one for you to remember from my long list, so I thought I would post it here so everyone knows you are already on this one :earboy2: :rotfl: :p

I've decided I really like selling on ebay. I've been going thru boxes to find more things to put on there. What I thought I really needed at the time, I'm finding I don't really need any more. I like the money coming in much better.

Has anyone decided on excursions yet? I see we are close to being able to book them.

I have! I have! What? You weren't talking to me? Oh.....:guilty:

There are only 2 or 3 people on a thread for the June 4th cruise. I'm not going to post. Since my parents are coming, I'm going to fly under the radar. Spend all my time with Mom and Dad....be a good daughter for a change.

Barb.....you better not be selling any cool Disney stuff that your friend might want!

I can speak English just a little.

A lot of Japanese are good at writing and reading English. However, they are not good at speaking English. I think that I am the one person.
But,I am looking forward to meeting and talking you on the cruise.

We will get to LA on August 5.
Then,We will go to Disneyland and one night stay at DISNEY GRAND CALIFORNIAN hotel.

We will be deck 6 on the cruise.

See you soon.

Wow, you're "little" English is great! I only wish I even knew a "little" Japanese. Is'not it interesting that reading/writing are easier in English. I speak more Chinese than I can read or write.

Maybe we'll bump into you at the Grand Californian - we'll be there on the 3rd.

Here's a link to a shopping service that I've used in the past when I HAD to have something from Disneyland, but couldn't get there. They have the Gold Mickey Ears:

What are gold mickey ears? I couldn't find them in this link. I was happy as a clam to receive the kids' Guest of Honor badges that I had ordered a while back. :cool1:
